Charlotte Riggs’ electrifying goal against Port Adelaide has earned her a Medibank Goal of the Year nomination.
With the Eagles trailing by 19-points early in the first quarter, Riggs was positioned in the middle of the ground working her way down the field, showing incredible speed and power, she took on the opposition bursting past everyone to slot a brilliant running goal from 40m.
The stunning run-and-dash highlighted Riggs’ skill, athleticism, and determination, earning her a well-deserved nomination for Goal of the Year.
