The West Coast Eagles returned home from their round nine clash with Adelaide unscathed on the injury front, and have also seen some progress amongst the long-term injury players.
“Belinda Smith has returned to running following the hamstring strain that she sustained in round eight.” High Performance Manager Sam Batterton said.
Courtney Rowley’s road to recovery has just begun, going in for knee surgery on Tuesday after rupturing her ACL against the Pies in round eight.
“Courtney will spend a bit of time away from the club on the back of that and then begin her rehab process.” Batterton said.
Following a lower back injury earlier in the season, Courtney Lindgren has also started progressing with her rehab, while Beth Schilling continues to make strides with her foot injury.
“After a period of rest, Courtney Lindgren has begun her rehab on her lower back stress fracture,” Batterton said.
“Beth Schilling has begun weight bearing and is out of the moon boot and on the road to recovery from her Lisfranc injury.”
