The Club was joined alongside the WA All Abilities Football Association, Starkick, Centurion and Healthy Strides in providing a fun event for people of any age or ability to be present and celebrate the importance of inclusion in football and the wider community.

Eagles HQ was packed out with over 200 participants venturing to Mineral Resources Park for an afternoon filled with inclusive games and activations with the full AFL playing squad heading out to show their support.

Starkick and Healthy Strides hosted the younger kids within the Club’s Indoor Training Facility, filling the area with plenty of smiles and energy to start the afternoon.

The main event was out on the oval as the Centurion Inclusion Football Academy decider match was played out, with Eagles players running water on-field and providing some energetic rev-ups during the quarter breaks.

2025 marked the fifth year for this annual event which has become a marquee event at Eagles HQ for the Club’s community calendar, as Executive General Manager of Community and Game Development Richard O’Connell reinforced.

“Celebrating the International Day of People with Disabilities through various activities, displays, and an Integrated Football Game proved to be a highly engaging experience for both the West Coast Eagles AFL playing squad and the broader Victoria Park community,” O’Connell said.

“Mineral Resources Park serves as a welcoming hub where friends can visit, have fun, and share stories with the broader Eagles family. A heartfelt thank you to the WA All Abilities Football Association, WA Disabled Sports Association, Healthy Strides, and the Town of Victoria Park for co-delivering this wonderful event for the fourth consecutive year.”

The Club is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive football community, and International Day of People with Disability provides an important opportunity to celebrate this alongside key partners.
