As part of All the Way West, the club continues to recognise a Member of the Round at every West Coast Eagles home and away match in 2026, celebrating the members whose dedication and belief sustain the club through every chapter.
For Round 6, we’re proud to name Jarrod as our Member of the Round, a supporter whose loyalty is rooted in long‑standing passion and a desire to be involved in the club in every way possible.
A constant passion
For Jarrod, being a West Coast Eagles member is about standing alongside one of the country’s great sporting institutions.
“Being a member of the West Coast Eagles is important to me because this club has been a constant passion in my life,” he says. “As a loyal supporter, I want to be involved and dedicated any way I can.”
A day that felt inevitable
When asked which moment he would relive, Jarrod points to a day at Optus Stadium that still stands out.
“The 2018 Preliminary Final against Melbourne,” he says.
To be part of the atmosphere that night was something special.
“Being 10 goals in front at half time, knowing I’m going to see us in our second grand final in three years as a much more prepared and improved club,” he says. “It was surreal having the spectators around me booking tickets to the game the following week.”
It was a moment filled with belief and anticipation, and one that perfectly captured the momentum of that premiership run.
Game day, rain or shine
Jarrod’s game day routine starts early and lasts all day.
“I wake up and wear my Eagles gear all day regardless of what I’m doing,” he says.
From there, it’s about making the most of the occasion.
“I head to Crown beforehand, then get to the ground as early as I can and take my seat, whether it’s rain or shine.”
Eyes on the current leaders
Among the current playing group, one player stands out most for Jarrod.
“Liam Baker,” he says. “He always plays a hard and tough brand of football as skipper.”
It’s the type of leadership and effort that resonates strongly with loyal supporters.
A message of belief
If Jarrod could share one message with the players before they run out, it would be a reminder that moments are there to be seized.
“It doesn’t have to be your game,” he says. “But it can be your moment.”
Through All the Way West, members like Jarrod show that supporting the Eagles is about consistency, belief and being present for every opportunity, no matter the challenge.
