The WAFL Eagles have confirmed their team for Saturday’s round five clash, with key defender Harry Edwards headlining the inclusions after completing concussion protocols following the round two match against North Melbourne.
Edwards has been building his match fitness across recent weeks and will play in the WAFL this weekend after completing two full training sessions since being cleared.
Edwards brings valuable experience and stability to the backline, with fellow defender Sandy Brock also returning to the side to strengthen the defensive unit.
Draftee Fred Rodriguez has been named on the wing after making a strong impression in his first game in the blue and gold last week. While Jamie Cripps continues to provide leadership and forward pressure closer to goal.
The Eagles will be without AFL‑listed duo Matt Owies and Tom Cole, who have been elevated to AFL duties, while Fin Macrae is sidelined through suspension, with Sam Cipriani omitted.
The Eagles meet East Perth this Saturday at Mineral Resources Park from 2.10pm, chasing a fourth consecutive victory.
