The West Coast Eagles have finalised their AFLW coaching contingent ahead of the 2026 NAB AFLW season, with a mix of new appointments and returning experience strengthening the program.
Club legend Dana Hooker rejoins the Eagles in a new role as Player Mentor following her retirement from the club at the end of 2025. A dual All-Australian and inaugural Club Champion, Hooker played 45 games for West Coast and remains one of the most respected figures in the club’s AFLW history, bringing valuable leadership and connection to the playing group.
Tiffany Ferguson-Blight also joins the program as a Development Coach, arriving from Perth Football Club where she leads the Rogers Cup program. She brings a strong focus on developing young talent through fundamentals, game intelligence and genuine relationships.
The additions round out a coaching structure that has evolved across the off-season, following earlier confirmations that Darren Harris (forwards), Chad Morrison (backline) and Kane Mitchell (midfield) would take on new roles for 2026.
The Eagles will retain strong continuity across the rest of the panel, with Martene Pearman (coach/player development), Baker Denneman (stoppages, strategy and trends), Andrew Di Loreto (development coach) and Brett King (ruck coach) all continuing in their respective roles.
The coaching group will again be led by senior coach Daisy Pearce, who enters her third season at the helm as the Eagles continue to build their AFLW program.
The West Coast Eagles kicked off preparations for the 2026 NAB AFLW season on Monday, May 18, with the squad returning for pre-season training.
