West Coast’s team to kick-start its 2026 AFLW campaign has been locked in for Sunday against Greater Western Sydney.
The third season under coach Daisy Pearce will see five fresh faces in action in round one, including last year’s draftees Mia Russo and Jovie Skewes-Clinton.
The exciting duo have been named on the interchange alongside recruits Isabella Shannon and Ella Slocombe, with Keeley Skepper lining up on a wing.
Bella Lewis will skipper the team at ENGIE Stadium, with co-captain Charlie Thomas named in a powerful engine room alongside superstar Ella Roberts and ruck-forward Lauren Wakfer.
Sarah Lakay, Natasha Entwistle and Beth Schilling are the emergencies for the 4.45pm clash (2.45pm AWST).
The Eagles have won their past two encounters against the Giants – a 42-point triumph at home last season and a 24-point win in 2024 at Henson Park in Sydney.
Sunday’s game will be broadcast live in WA and NSW on 7two and 7-plus, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
