West Coast Eagles young guns Harley Reid, Reuben Ginbey and Willem Duursma have been named in the 2026 AFLPA 22Under22 team, presented by Intrepid.

Recognised alongside the best emerging stars of the competition, Reid has been named for a third-straight season, a testament to his elite talent and continued development and growth at AFL level.

The powerful midfielder has had a career-best season, averaging 24.8 disposals and 6.7 clearances per game, currently sitting fifth in the league for clearances this season.

Ginbey earned his spot at centre half-back after some inspirational performances, including a career-high 16 spoils in round two against North Melbourne, before a quad injury in round 13 saw him sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Duursma’s nomination adds to his impressive debut season, with the No.1 draft pick also nominated for the Rising Star following his stellar performance in the round three win against Port Adelaide.

The 19-year-old has kicked 14 goals and averaged 17 disposals in 21 games this year playing a variety of roles in coach Andrew McQualter's team.

The AFLPA's 22Under22 is a fan-voted team that celebrates the best young talent across the competition.

West Coast's three selections ranked the Eagles equal-second for the most selections alongside North Melbourne, with only Brisbane (four) having more players picked.

Emerging forward line star Jobe Shanahan was selected in the extended squad in a sign of his promising future at AFL level.
