The WAFL Eagles have confirmed their team for Saturday's clash with Claremont, with their finals hopes on the line in the final home-and-away match of the season.
James Ewing will celebrate a significant milestone when he runs out for his 50th WAFL appearance as the Eagles take on Claremont on Saturday.
A regular feature of West Coast's backline throughout 2026, Ewing's milestone is a testament to his resilience after overcoming several significant injuries since making his league debut with Peel Thunder in 2020.
The Eagles have made three changes to the side that faced Peel Thunder last weekend, with Elijah Hewett (cork) and Jake Miles-Wrency (calf) returning after injury, while Cody Lee has been named to make his League debut.
A product of the West Coast Eagles' Next Generation Academy, Lee arrives after an impressive season that included representing Western Australia at the AFL National Under 18 Championships.
The talented 17-year-old key defender from Wesley College and Perth Football Club has also spent the week training with the club's AFL program.
The Eagles will be without Garrison Kenh, who returns to East Perth Football Club, while Matt Owies is unavailable through a knee injury and Archie Watt has been omitted.
West Coast heads into its final home-and-away match of the season with its finals hopes hanging in the balance, taking on Claremont at Mineral Resources Park from 3.20pm today.
