West Coast has received a timely boost ahead of this weekend's AFLW Derby, with Lily Paterson available for selection after overcoming a hip stress injury, while Liz McGrath and Zoe Wakfer continue to close in on a return.

Paterson has completed her rehabilitation program and returned to full training.

"Lily has completed her reconditioning phase on the back of her bone stress injury and is now full training and available for selection," High Performance Manager Sam Batterton said.

McGrath is also edging closer to a comeback after making strong progress in her recovery from a hamstring injury.

"Liz has made considerable progress over the last two weeks and has put herself in a position to be available for selection," Batterton said.

"Liz will full train this week as she ticks off the final markers for her return to play."

Defender Zoe Wakfer is nearing a return after progressing well through the AFL's concussion protocols.

"Zoe has progressed well through the concussion protocols and will full train this week," Batterton said.

The Eagles are also confident Jaide Britton will be available for Sunday's clash after coming from the ground following a heavy collision against Essendon on Friday.

"Jaide came from the ground in the fourth quarter after a big hit, but thankfully there was no major damage," Batterton said.

"We expect her to be available for the Derby this weekend."
