West Coast ruck Charlotte Riggs has been recognised for one of the defining moments of the club's historic AFLW Western Derby victory, earning a Mark of the Year nomination for her spectacular aerial effort against Fremantle.
The highlight came with just three minutes remaining in the third quarter with the Eagles trailing by two-points.
Launching the ball from the goal square, Emma Swanson delivered a long clearing kick towards a pack of players on the wing, where Riggs attacked the contest with courage and conviction.
Riggs rose above multiple Fremantle opponents to take a towering contested mark, securing the ball strongly before crashing back to earth.
The momentum shifting grab gave the Eagles a crucial advantage as the third term drew to a close and helped spark West Coast's charge towards its breakthrough Derby triumph.
Fans can support Riggs and go into the draw to win the major prize of $5,000 thanks to Virgin Australia.
Round eight voting closes Thursday 10am (AEST).
The major prize winner will be announced at the end of the 2026 NAB AFLW home and away season.
