West Coast defender Jess Rentsch has been ruled out for the remainder of the AFLW season as the Club prioritises the healing of a stress reaction in her foot that she has managed throughout the year.
"Jess has been managing a foot complaint throughout the year and this has limited the volume of training she has been able to complete," Batterton said.
"The decision has been made to rule her out of the remaining games of the season so we can prioritise a full recovery."
Midfielder Mia Russo continues to make encouraging progress in her recovery from a hamstring injury, increasing her running speed and beginning skill work as she builds towards a return.
"Mia has progressed well in her rehab, increased her running speed and has begun some skill work,"Batterton said.
