Brady Rawlings says the Eagles have at least four young talents in mind for its first pick in Friday’s NAB AFL Draft.

The West Coast list manager told Eagle Eye TV the club hoped to secure an elite talent with pick No.12.

“There’s probably three or four guys that we are considering at this stage that we think will be around that pick,” Rawlings said.

“Then we’ve got pick 34, 54 and 91, so we will see what’s available at those picks.”

West Coast’s recruitment team will depart Perth for Sydney tomorrow with the sole purpose of securing the best available talent for the club’s 2017 list.

Rawlings said West Coast was well prepared for the draft and ready for any surprises it might throw its way.

“We’ve done all the work already,” he said.

“We had the draft forum; we got all the recruiters from around the country involved last week.  We’ve pretty well finalised our order. We’ve still got a couple of tiny things to tidy up.

“Once we’re in Sydney we’ll go through it in more detail again.”

While the club was keen to sign some of nation’s most promising prospects, Rawlings said specific list requirements would take priority on Friday.

“Most the time we will take the best available talent at each pick, but in certain situations we might feel like we need to fill a list need and on the night if that means a couple of players move up or down on the night, depending on what we’ve already got in the bank, then we’ll have that discussion on the night as well,” he said.
