Veteran West Coast Eagles defender Will Schofield has been offered a one-match sanction for headbutting Port Adelaide's Zak Butters.

The incident, which occured during the third quarter of the teams' clash at Metricon Stadium yesterday, was assessed as Intentional Conduct with Low Impact and High Contact by AFL Match Review Officer Michael Christian.

Small forward Jamaine Jones was also cited by Christian for striking the Power's Justin Westhoff during the fourth quarter of the round four match.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Carless Conduct with Low Impact and High Contact.

The incident was classified as a $1500 sanction as a first offence, but Jones can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
