West Coast has invited former Brisbane defender Cedric Cox and emerging WAFL talents Will Collins and Nic Martin to train with the club under Pre-season Supplementary Selection Period rules.

Cox has returned to Perth after his four-year stint with the Lions and has signed with the WAFL Eagles for the 2021 campaign.

The 23-year-old defender played 13 matches for Brisbane and is renowned for his skills on both sides of the body as well as line-breaking run from half-back.

Cox will join Subiaco forward Martin, 20, and 19-year-old Swan Districts backman Collins on the track with the Eagles squad next week.

Martin, a 192cm forward with neat skills, impressed playing senior WAFL football last year as a deep target in attack and led the Lions’ goalkicking with 13 majors from eight games.

An athletic 191cm athlete who is quick and strong above his head, Collins stood out with his late-season form for Swans’ Colts side last year.
