The West Coast Eagles WAFL side will return to the state league competition in 2021 with an exciting opening round clash at Mineral Resources Park on Easter weekend. 

The team will face co-tenant Perth on Saturday April 3 after the Demons made the finals for the first time in 23 years last season.

The Eagles have been preparing to re-enter the WAFL after missing the 2020 season due to Covid-19 protocols forcing the team to isolate within the AFL hub systems.

West Coast's first season in the WAFL in 2019 resulted in a maiden finals birth which included a thrilling victory over West Perth in the elimination final.

The Eagles will play each team twice throughout the 20 round season with two byes scheduled as well as the league bye for the state representative game between Western Australia and South Australia on May 8.

Finals will begin on the last weekend in August and the Grand Final is set to take place on Sunday September 19.
