Reid continued his development as a promising forward and ruck option in 2026, adding six AFL appearances before a knee injury in July brought his season to an early end. The athletic 203cm tall has shown encouraging signs since making his AFL debut in 2025, using his height and mobility to provide a target in attack while offering valuable support in the ruck. Originally selected with pick 30 in the 2023 National Draft, Reid remains an important part of West Coast’s developing tall stocks. His long-term potential was reinforced in July when he signed a three year contract extension, committing to the Eagles until the end of 2030. At a Glance: Junior club: Inverloch-Kongwak (VIC). Debut: Round 1 2025. Recruited from: Gippsland Power (VIC). Brownlow votes: 0.
