Entering his 14th season in blue and gold, the hard-running and durable wingman is now an elder statesman in a youthful and evolving West Coast squad. Gaff was one of only four Eagles to feature in every game last year, pushing himself from contest to contest and continuing to do the team-first things on a weekly basis. A two-time All-Australian and the 2015 John Worsfold medallist, Gaff has built his reputation on fighting through injuries to front up each week, and the Victorian product could be within sight of the 300-game milestone by the end of the 2024 campaign. Following the retirements of Luke Shuey and Jack Redden in recent years, Gaff’s experience will be important in helping to guide West Coast’s developing midfield group.
