The West Coast Eagles signed Oakleigh Chargers midfielder Sanne Bakker as an injury replacement player ahead of the 2024 AFLW campaign. A former national 800m and 1500m runner, Bakker's ultra-competitive nature and athleticism quickly caught the eye, with her ability to play both as an inside midfielder and on the outside providing valuable versatility.
