Joining the Eagles in June, Jessica Sedunary brought much needed experience to a young Eagles outfit after moving West before the start of season seven. Prominently a midfielder in her early years, Sedunary played majority of her football down back in the seven games she played this season. Before coming to the Eagles Sedunary played in Adelaide's inaugural flag-winning side in 2017 alongside Eagles teammate Kellie Gibson, and finished fourth in the Crows' club champion award, before crossing to St Kilda for a season in 2020. She rejoined the Crows after one year in Melbourne and was inactive for AFLW Season Six earlier this year while she chased an Olympic berth with the Australian cycling team. The 32-year-old has a keen understanding of the game and brought a physical presence to both the Eagles backline and midfield. Her work rate was also a key stat that stood out for West Coast during season seven averaging 129.4 metres gained with a standout contribution in round one where she set a career high of 239 metres gained against Port Adelaide.
