Another cross-code player, Gooch came across from the W-League where she represented the Perth Glory until 2017 before being drafted by Fremantle. After being placed on the in-active list for season seven of AFLW, Gooch joined the coaching ranks as a development coach working with the team’s backline. Ultimately her input this season has major impact on the rise of young defenders like Charlie Thomas and Sophie McDonald.
