West Coast Eagles midfielder Dom Sheed will be sidelined for the remainder of the season after developing a stress-related lower leg injury.

Sheed has endured a difficult 2022, with the important onballer managing only one AFL appearance after suffering a serious ankle injury in the first practice match in February.

The 27-year-old was sidelined for three months before returning via the WAFL Eagles and building towards his senior comeback in round 14 against Geelong.

“After putting in so much hard work to get back to playing after his ankle injury it’s really unfortunate for both Dom and the Club that he will miss the remainder of the season,” Football Manager Gavin Bell said.
