Emerging key forwards Archer Reid and Jack Williams will return in Sunday’s WA Day eve marquee clash with Geelong, while young gun Bo Allan is set for his second career match.

Reid and Williams have been called up to replace star spearhead Jake Waterman (shoulder) and forward-ruck Bailey Williams, who has been managed.

Allan is back for the first time since his debut against Melbourne in round eight.

The 19-year-old half-back has had a stop-start season, which continued after he was suspended for one match from his AFL debut.

Allan then missed a second consecutive match due to the WAFL bye for the State Game, but he impressed with 15 disposals against West Perth last Saturday to earn a recall.

Forward-midfielder Tom Gross has been omitted from the team which lost to Adelaide last round.

Gross, yet-to-debut tall Jobe Shanahan and fellow 2024 draftee Hamish Davis are the emergencies for Sunday’s match.

Bouncedown against the Cats is at 5.20pm and the Eagles are set to don a special black and gold guernsey for the match celebrating all things WA.

The match will be broadcast live nationally on the Seven Network and 7-plus, as well as on Fox Footy and Kayo.
