West Coast Eagles young gun Ella Roberts has once again been recognised alongside the AFLW’s best talents, earning her third consecutive selection in the All Australian extended squad.

The dominant midfielder backed up her impressive 2025 season, averaging 21.7 touches, 5.8 tackles and a career-high five clearances in 2026.

Roberts put the competition on notice with an inspiring round five performance against the Lions, finishing with 34 touches and 11 clearances, both career-highs.

The Peel Thunder product won her second Derby Medal in round eight against Fremantle in the Eagle’s historic victory, remaining the only West Coast AFLW player to win the award.

At just 21 years of age, Roberts played her 50th game in the blue and gold in round seven, and continues to elevate her game, finishing sixth in the League this season for centre clearances.

The final team of 21, which includes a captain and a vice-captain and selected as if playing in a match, will be announced at the W Awards later this month.  Â
