Experienced forward Jamie Cripps will be a chance for this weekend’s clash with the Kangaroos, after undergoing surgery on a knee complaint.

Jack Petruccelle will also be a test for this weekend after sustaining a shoulder injury last month in the WAFL.

“We have a number of players who are a test to play this week,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness told westcoasteagles.com.au.

“Jamie Cripps has recovered quicker than expected from his minor knee surgery, while Jack Petruccelle had a good rehab session last weekend in recovery from his shoulder injury.

“Both ‘Petch’ and ‘Crippa’ will need to get through main training on Thursday to prove their availability to play this weekend, while a decision around Callum Jamieson’s (hamstring) availability will also be made later in the week.

“After being managed last round, Bailey Williams will be available to play this weekend.”

Indigenous All-Star Liam Ryan will also be a test this week after sustaining a lower-leg injury in Sunday’s loss to the Cats.

“Liam copped a knock to his lower leg early in the game against Geelong,” Inness said.

“He was able to get through the game with full function, however he has pulled up sore post-game so will be a test this weekend.”
