West Coast Eagles key defender Harry Edwards is a test to take his place against Adelaide's tall forward line on Sunday.
Edwards pulled up with some foot soreness after the loss to Melbourne last round, with scans revealing tendon irritation.
“Harry presented with some foot soreness post-game and scans have revealed some tendon irritation in his foot,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness said.
“He’ll be a test for this weekend, and we’ll monitor him closely throughout the week.”
Midfielder Jack Hutchinson has been ruled out for two-to-three weeks after sustaining a low-grade hamstring injury in the WAFL Eagles' clash with East Perth.
“Jack suffered an overstretch injury to his hamstring after getting a push in the back during a contest,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness said.
“Fortunately, it’s on the minor end.”
In more positive news, Callum Jamieson is tracking well in his recovery from a minor hamstring strain and is aiming to complete full training on Thursday to put his hand up to play.
Jacob Newton is also progressing after missing last week with a wrist issue.
“Jacob trained well today and will need to complete another full session later in the week to ensure he is fit for the weekend,” Inness said.
