After completing a thorough analysis of similar incidents with similar outcomes, the West Coast Eagles have accepted Liam Duggan's two-match suspension for rough conduct following an incident involving Adelaide forward Riley Thilthorpe during Sunday’s match.

Playing in his 200th game, Duggan was cited for a third quarter incident which was graded Careless Conduct, High Impact and High Contact by the Match Review Officer.

There was no option for a reduced sanction with an early plea.

Duggan will miss the Eagles’ final two matches for 2025 against the Western Bulldogs and Sydney.
