The West Coast Eagles have named their extended squad for Sunday’s match up against Greater Western Sydney at Mineral Resources Park.
Former skipper Emma Swanson is in line for a welcome return following a one-week suspension. The influential midfielder set to bring leadership, intensity and drive back into the Eagles’ engine room.
Experienced midfielder Dana Hooker has been named in the 24-player squad and is a chance to make her first appearance in the team since round two.
Yet-to-debut draftee Lucy Boyd has also been included in the extended squad, with the final 21-player team will be confirmed at 3pm WST on Friday.
Bouncedown is 3:05pm WST and the match will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Fox Sports and Kayo.
Sunday’s clash will be West Coast’s first home game since overcoming Port Adelaide by 19 points in round four, while the Giants are heading west in hot form after consecutive victories.
Classy forward Kellie Gibson will play her 50th game for the Eagles, while Roxy Roux is set for her 50th career AFLW game after starting her career at Fremantle.
