West Coast midfielder Harry Schoenberg has been offered a one-match sanction for striking in Sunday’s pre-season clash against Port Adelaide.

Schoenberg was cited by the Match Review Officer for an incident involving the Power’s Logan Evans during the fourth quarter, which was graded Intentional Conduct, Medium Impact and Body Contact.

The one-match sanction cannot be reduced with an early guilty plea.

If the Eagles accept the sanction Schoenberg would be unavailable in round one against Gold Coast at People First Stadium.

West Coast has until 8am (AWST) on Tuesday to decide whether to challenge the sanction at the AFL Tribunal.
