West Coast midfielder Tim Kelly has been included amid three changes for Sunday’s clash against North Melbourne at Optus Stadium.
Kelly has been added to the 23 that lost to Gold Coast in round one alongside co-captain Liam Baker and key defender Harry Edwards, in a boost to the Eagles’ experience.
Utility Ryan Maric and draftee Josh Lindsay have made way alongside defender Tom Cole (all omitted).
Kelly, Baker and Edwards add 370 combined AFL matches to the West Coast line-up, which was the youngest and least experienced side in round one.
Mature-age recruit Milan Murdock has retained his place following an exciting 22-disposal, two-goal debut.
Murdock has been named on the interchange alongside fellow round one debutant Cooper Duff-Tytler, with No.1 draft pick Willem Duursma selected on a half-forward flank.
That trio will play their first game in front of the passionate blue and gold members and supporters at Optus Stadium, alongside tough onballer Deven Robertson and key back Tylar Young.
Fellow recruit Harry Schoenberg has missed out on the final 23 after completing his one-game suspension from the AAMI Community Series.
Sunday’s match starts at 3.10pm and fans are encouraged to arrive early with a new ticketing system implemented at Optus Stadium.
The Eagles will celebrate their loyal members and supporters in round two for Appreciation Round.
