Key West Coast Eagles forward Josh Kennedy is a chance to play in Saturday’s important clash with the Gold Coast Suns at Patersons Stadium.

Kennedy, who missed the game against Hawthorn in Launceston with a depressed fracture of the cheekbone, had surgery last week, is recovering well and has been listed as a “test” by club medical staff.

And if all the other injured players recover as expected, the only player who will be missing from action is tough half-back Beau Waters, who had season ending shoulder surgery about three weeks ago.

Defender Brad Sheppard and young midfielders Brant Colledge and Simon Tunbridge are also to be tested later in the week.

Sheppard missed last week’s game with a bruised buttock from a deep-seated cork, while Colledge (hamstring) and Tunbridge (calf) are also likely to resume in the WAFL when East Perth plays South Frremantle.
