How are all my Rock-Blogger buddies doing? Hopefully you’ve all settled in to your school holidays nicely and are relaxing after what’s been a super-huge year!

The most recent highlight of the year was definitely my awesome birthday party that we had at Bounce in Cannington. 250 of my bestest little buds came along and it was just the coolest time ever, with heaps of bouncing, flipping, high fives and more. The best part of the day though? I’d told the players how fun the day was, so they decided to come along as well and meet by buddies and sign autographs for them as well.

It really was the best way to celebrate my birthday, so thanks for all my buddies for coming along, and thanks to the mums, dads, aunties, uncles and grandparents who came along too. I’m a lucky Eagle, that’s for sure!

That’s enough about me though, how was your year? Did you get to many of our games this year? There were some ripper ones, that’s for sure. What was your favourite game of the year? It’s hard to go past the thriller we had against the Giants over in Sydney. A see-saw game all day, and it comes down to everybody’s mate Nic Naitanui at the end. What a gather, what a snap, WHAT A GOAL! I don’t think there will be many Eagles fans who ever forget that ending.

Now, I’m really looking forward to next season. I’ve already had a chat to our recruits and draftees, and they can’t wait either.

I’m off on some holidays for a while, so I probably won’t see you again until next year. If you do see me down at the beach having a rest, come up and say g’day!

Until next year, have a Merry Christmas and a super happy New Year.

Rick
