Hi rock-blogger besties!

How have you been? I managed to sneak into Adelaide last week and watched as the boys had a ripping match against Port Adelaide. Not many people thought we would win, but I definitely had faith in the boys, especially since we were playing at the Adelaide Oval. We play so well there, it’s almost a home away from home for us!

Before I think about our next match on Friday night, I have to give a massive thanks to everyone who came along to my Rick’s Rookies Coaching Clinic in the school holidays. To see hundreds of my best friends there having a blast, and getting to meet their favourite Eagles players was super cool. Thanks to all the parents and grandparents who came along as well. My buddies wouldn’t have been there without you and I hope everyone had a great day.

We’ll have another event in the July school holidays, so keep an eye on your emails for more details. If you want to get an invitation to all my Rick’s Rookies events, make sure you get Mum or Dad to sign you up as a Rick’s Rookies member!

How has the first couple of weeks back at school been? It’s always hard getting back into the swing of things after a break, but hopefully you went back and told everyone about all the cool things the Eagles did over the holidays.

Now, we’ve got a pretty big match this Friday, haven’t we? Last time we played the Bulldogs at home it definitely didn’t go according to plan, and the Bulldogs went on to win the premiership! We’ll need to be at our very best to beat them this week, so make sure you cheer as long and loud as you can from wherever you’re watching the match. If you’re at the ground on Friday and see me, come up and say g’day!

Until next time, have an awesome time and GO EAGLES!
