The West Coast Eagles will host marquee matches in Perth this season, with the AFL releasing the 2026 AFLW fixture on Thursday.

In a club-first, West Coast will kick off their season with a round one double-header, facing the Giants at ENGIE Stadium following the AFL game between the two teams, with the day and time still to be confirmed.

The Eagles will return to Perth for round two, playing their first home game of the season against Gold Coast at Mineral Resources Park on Sunday, August 23 - the first of three games scheduled at the venue.

Rounds four and five will see West Coast play back-to-back home games against Melbourne and Brisbane, before an extended road trip to face St Kilda and Essendon in rounds six and seven.

The Eagles host Fremantle in a blockbuster Western Derby at Sullivan Logistics Stadium (Leederville Oval) in round eight, locked in for Sunday, August 4 at 2:05pm.

The team will wrap up the regular season in front of their home fans, taking on Hawthorn at Sullivan Logistics Stadium on Saturday, October 31.

“We’re really excited to have the fixture locked in and to start building towards the season ahead,” Head of Women’s Football Michelle Cowan said.

“There’s been a strong focus throughout pre-season on continuing to build from the foundations we have laid, and the group has attacked the work with great energy and intent.

“To open the season with a double-header alongside our AFL team is something that’s really exciting from a whole-of-club perspective.

“It’s a great opportunity to fly together and create a big occasion to kick off our season.”

Fans will be able to watch AFLW games across the Seven Network, 7 Plus, Foxtel, Kayo and Binge. Tickets for the standalone AFLW games will go on sale Tuesday, 21 July, with further ticketing information to come.
