As part of All the Way West, the club continues to recognise a Member of the Round at every West Coast Eagles home and away match in 2026, celebrating those members whose passion and commitment help bring the club to life each week.

For Round 13, we’re proud to celebrate Bron, a member whose story is built on connection, contribution and finding a true sense of belonging through the Eagles.

A lifelong connection

For Bronwyn, being a West Coast Eagles member is part of who she is.

“I’ve followed the Eagles from the first year they joined the AFL,” she says.

With roots in South Australia — where she supported local side West Torrens and a hometown team also called the Eagles — her allegiance to the colours was set early. No matter where life has taken her, that connection has never faded.

From being a country member while living in Alice Springs to travelling interstate whenever possible, Bronwyn has always found a way to show up for her club.

“Blue and gold is in my blood.”

Moments that last forever

When it comes to Eagles memories, Bronwyn has experienced the ultimate highs — in person.

She was there for both the 2005 and 2006 Grand Finals, each leaving a very different but equally lasting impression.

“I cried buckets at the end of the 2005 game,” she recalls.

But it was the following year that delivered something even more special. After thinking she’d missed her chance to attend the 2006 decider, a last-minute call changed everything — leading to a whirlwind trip and a day she’ll never forget.

“It was all go from that moment on. I didn’t care that I had to pay double for an airfare,” she says.

“The win… a day that is forever etched in my memory.”

Her love for the club is permanently marked too — with tattoos celebrating the Eagles emblem and the 2018 Premiership, leaving space for more success to come.

Game day, Bronwyn style

Game day for Bronwyn is all about preparation and passion — even if the nerves kick in long before the first bounce.

Each week starts with a ritual post on social media, followed by a calm lead-in… at least in theory.

“I try and have a relaxing time leading up to the game as I don’t tend to be too relaxed at the game,” she laughs.

Superstition also plays its part. Her 2018 Premiership ring and blue and gold beaded bracelet are non-negotiables, along with a well-worn scarf featuring a faded signature from John Worsfold.

For away games, the experience shifts to home — where even her dog knows to keep a safe distance when the tension rises.

Backing the boys

Among the current playing group, Bronwyn has a soft spot for the emerging talent coming through — but one player in particular has stood out this season.

“I do love seeing Jakey play,” she says.

After a challenging period, seeing him back out on the field has been especially meaningful.

“We really missed him last year, and I admire him — he’s had a tough couple of years.”

A message to the team

Having already seen the team in action this season — including a win in Adelaide — Bronwyn’s message to the players is simple and direct:

“Play like that again boys — tackle hard, play hard… but don’t get injured or reported.”

Through All the Way West, members like Bronwyn remind us that supporting the Eagles isn’t just about the result — it’s about unwavering loyalty, shared history and a deep connection that stands the test of time.
