West Coast defender Jess Rentsch has been sidelined after scans revealed bone stress in her foot.

The club is continuing to assess Rentsch's injury, with a timeline for her return yet to be determined.

"After reporting discomfort in her foot, it was discovered that Jess has developed a bone stress and for that reason requires a period of off loading,” High Performance Manager Sam Batterton said.

"We'll continue to monitor Jess closely and work through her rehabilitation before determining a return-to-play timeline."

Midfielder Kayla Dalgleish continues to make progress in her recovery from a hamstring injury with the aim of returning in the coming weeks.

"Kayla is progressing well as she builds her running speed and has now started to introduce change of direction into her program," Batterton said.

Courtney Rowley remains on track in the later stages of her ACL rehabilitation, continuing to integrate into football training as she works towards a return.

Lily Paterson has taken encouraging steps forward in her recovery from a hip injury.

"Lily has made good progress and will begin working towards a return to running over the coming period," Batterton said.

Pre-season draftee Lily Smart has been moved to the inactive list as she continues recovering from the ACL injury sustained during pre-season training.

Mikayla Western will also remain sidelined for the 2026 campaign as she continues her rehabilitation from an ACL injury.
