The West Coast Eagles have made two changes to the team ahead of Saturday’s Indigenous Round matchup with Kuwarna (Adelaide) at Thomas Farms Oval.

Co-captain Charlie Thomas returns to the team after being a late withdrawal from last weekend’s game, the All Australian defender ruled out with illness.  

She is joined in the team by top-up player Lisa Steane, who has previously played one game for the club, debuting in the blue and gold in round seven last season.

New South Wales product Steane started her AFLW career at the Giants, before spending three seasons at the Swans, and has since joined Subiaco in the WAFLW.

The duo come into the lineup for Roxy Roux (managed) and Mia Russo (omitted), with Russo, Siena Gerardi and Beth Schilling named as emergencies.

Experienced forward Kellie Gibson will play her 75^th AFLW game on Saturday, the inaugural AFLW premiership player spending time at both Adelaide and Fremantle before joining the club as a foundation Eagle ahead of the 2020 season.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 12:35pm (WST) and will be broadcast live in WA on 7mate and 7plus, and nationally on Fox Sports and Kayo.
