Waalitj Marawar have announced their extended 24-player squad to take on Narrm (Melbourne) on Sunday afternoon at Mineral Resources Park.
Exciting young forward Sienna Gerardi has been named in the extended lineup, and if selected in the final team, will make her AFLW debut on Sunday.
Gerardi was selected by the club with pick 6 in the 2026 AFLW Pre-Season Draft, the Swan Districts product impressing with her explosive speed, athleticism and competitiveness.
Fellow forward Kayla Dalgleish has been named in the squad, and if selected in the final team, will play her first game of the season after suffering a hamstring injury in the pre-season.
Roxy Roux returns after being managed against Kuwarna (Adelaide) last weekend, while Mia Russo has also worked her way back into squad. Top-up player Lisa Steane has been omitted.
Waalitj Marawar will name their final 21-player team on Friday at 3pm AWST.
The match starts at 3:05pm WST on Sunday and will be broadcast live on the 7 Network in WA, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
