Exciting young forward Sienna Gerardi will become the latest Eagle to realise her AFLW dream after being named to make her debut against Brisbane on Saturday.
The talented Swan Districts product joined West Coast with pick No.6 in the 2026 AFLW Pre-Season Draft and has impressed throughout her first season in blue and gold, earning her opportunity at the highest level.
A graduate of the club's Next Generation Academy Women's program, Gerardi arrives at AFLW level as a dynamic and dangerous small forward, possessing the speed, athleticism and football instincts to create opportunities around goal.
The 18-year-old's debut marks the latest chapter in a football journey that has seen her develop into one of Western Australia's most exciting young prospects.
“It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to get out there and play with the girls," Gerardi said.
“I’m really grateful for the opportunity and excited to pull on the Eagles jumper for the first time.
“To run out with this group is something I’ve been working hard for and I'm really proud to be able to represent the club."
A highly talented dual-sport athlete, Gerardi has been regarded as a player with enormous upside, capable of impacting both at ground level and in the air.
West Coast AFLW coach Daisy Pearce said Gerardi had earned her opportunity through hard work and a commitment to developing her game.
"Sienna is an instinctive footballer and natural athlete who has worked hard on and off field for this opportunity," Pearce said.
"She is so smooth and evasive and consistently does things that break open the game.
"Sienna often has us all turning our heads, shocked how she got to that spot to crumb or found a way to not get out marked.
"She's worked really hard to step up to AFLW level and we're looking forward to her playing in a West Coast jumper for the first time."
Gerardi will make her AFLW debut when the Eagles host Brisbane at Mineral Resources Park on Saturday from 2.35pm.
