West Coast has smashed another membership record by reaching 90,000 members for the first time in its history.

The club has welcomed almost 10,000 new members in season 2019.

Supporter Operations General Manager Lisa Bradock thanked members for their loyalty and support.

“We are extremely grateful to all of our 90,000 members for helping us reach this incredible milestone,” Bradock said.

“We’ve seen fantastic growth in our junior membership categories and, significantly, we’ve seen a real influx of new members signing up for our foundation AFLW membership.

“The entire club is really excited for this new chapter, as we get ready for these talented women to take to the field in 2020.”

The passion demonstrated by West Coast’s members has been central to the ongoing success of the club, according to Bradock.

“It is the belief and loyalty of our members that form the foundation of the club and gives the players the extra push they need as we head towards September,” she said.

The club will be celebrating the membership milestone in round 23, during Member Recognition Round.

“The lead up to our round 23 game against Hawthorn will be a real celebration of what our members have helped the club achieve, together with lots of special offers and competitions,” Bradock said.

“We encourage all fans to get behind the team, come and visit the club at our new home at Mineral Resources Park, and be part of the excitement.”
