West Coast did not give North Melbourne a look in during this week’s AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award polling, sweeping all the votes on offer following a dominant 49-point win at Optus Stadium on Saturday.

Josh Kennedy was the biggest winner at the weekend, bagging a perfect 10 votes from senior coaches Adam Simpson and Rhyce Shaw for his seven-goal haul against the Roos.

Two-time John Worsfold medallist Elliot Yeo collected seven votes for his 26-disposal, 10-clearance and seven-tackle effort against the Shinboners, while Jack Darling pocketed six votes for a performance highlighted by 21 disposals, seven marks, five tackles and two goals.

Tireless midfielder Andrew Gaff snared three votes for his 33-disposal, six-clearance game and Lewis Jetta earned two votes for a special showing in which he distributed the ball at 95.2 per cent efficiency.

Dom Sheed (31 disposals, five inside 50s, five tackles) and Willie Rioli (19 disposals, six marks, two goals) collected one vote each from the senior coaches.
