Brock enjoyed a breakthrough first season in 2025 after joining West Coast through the 2024 SSP period, quickly emerging as an important part of the club’s developing backline. The Palmerston product impressed across the pre-season with his athletic profile and intercepting ability, earning a senior debut in round four before going on to play 14 AFL games in his maiden campaign. Standing at 198cm, he provided valuable height and composure in defence, showing clean ball use and a willingness to take intercept marks while competing strongly against some of the league’s bigger forwards. His rebounding strength was a standout feature, highlighted by a season-high seven rebound 50s against GWS, demonstrating his ability to turn defence into attack and help launch transition play. Brock seized his opportunity at West Coast, impressing coaches with his attitude, work ethic and rapid development across the year. His performances were rewarded with a two-year contract extension through to the end of 2027, solidifying his place in the club’s long-term plans as a key defensive pillar in a rebuilding side.
