Grego is a competitive and resilient medium midfielder/defender who is strong one-on-one and in the air. He’s an excellent decision maker, a prolific midfielder at club level and was important in defence for Victoria Metro. After being drafted with pick 48 in 2024, Grego spent 2025 developing across midfield and defensive roles, highlighted by an AFL debut in round 24 where he collected 14 disposals and 5 marks. Grego also produced a consistent WAFL campaign with 17 games and an average of 17 disposals, including several standout performances through the midfield and half back line.
