The West Coast Eagles All Stars program has been designed to provide inclusive education to students with disabilities, with an aim to build self-confidence, resilience, football skills and provide links to community football.

Program Outline
The All Stars Program is conducted over 5 sessions in terms 2 and 3. Sessions 1-3 are delivered at your school by a West Coast Eagles community staff member, whilst session 4 will be run by a West Coast Eagles player. Session 5 will be hosted at the home of the West Coast Eagles. A maximum of 25 – 30 students can be accommodated.

Session one: Eagles Rock My School Visit and Introductory Skills Session (1 hour)An introduction to the program delivered in conjunction with Rick ‘The Rock’ Eagle focusing on being your best. This session will also include a practical football skills clinic going over the fundamentals of football. Activities will include, running, kicking, marking etc.

Session two: West Coast Eagles Education – Football 101 or Resilience Education and Skills Session (1 hour)
A choice of either a ‘Football 101’ or ‘Resilience’ presentation. There will be activities for the students to complete as part of both sessions, and any remaining time will be spent on progressing the skills learnt from previous sessions.

Session three: Football Fundamentals Skills Session (1 hour)
A continuation of football skills, focusing on using all the skills learnt in previous sessions and introducing new skills and concepts.

Session four: Player Visit – Skill Session with Small Sided Games Focus (1 hour)
A continuation of football skills, run by a West Coast Eagles player! This session focusing on using all the skills learnt in previous sessions and applying them in a game-like setting. Players will also be available for photos and autographs.

Session five: All Stars Cup (half day)
The program culminates with the inaugural All Stars Cup, an exciting inter-school carnival consisting of small sided football games for participating schools hosted at the West Coast Eagles facilities. The students will also get the opportunity to tour our WCE facility at Mineral Resources Park, Lathlain.

*Sessions 1 – 4 run in a continuous 4 week block in Term 2 or 3 with session 5 being run in Term 3/4. Timing/dates of sessions can be changed to suit schools.
