West Coast has received pick 10 in the WA draft (No.54 overall) after trading Irish product Grace Kelly to St Kilda for the upcoming season.

The Eagles will look to keep building on their youthful side after picking up five exciting prospects in last season's WA draft.

Prized first pick Charlie Thomas played in every match for the season, while Courtney Rowley, Sarah Lakay, Beth Schilling and Emily Bennett all made their debut.

This culminated in all five draftees playing together in the final match of the season, alongside young guns Bella Lewis, Sophie McDonald and Shanae Davison.

Senior coach Michael Prior thanked inaugural Eagle Kelly for her contribution to the club after playing 23 games and kicking nine goals across the past three seasons.

"We say a massive thank you to Grace for her service to the club over the past three seasons," he said.

"She's great fun to be around and she's been a valued contributor to our off-field culture.

"As well as that, what she's given to the club in terms of her effort is fantastic.

"Thanks again to Grace and we wish her the best of luck."
