The West Coast Eagles have today informed Zac Langdon of their decision to remove him from the primary list as the club looks to create more list spots for the National Draft.

Langdon was recruited by the Eagles at the end of 2020 in a trade with Greater Western Sydney.

“On behalf of the club, I’d like to thank Zac for his professionalism and commitment over the past two years,” Football Manager Gavin Bell said.

“In what was a challenging 2022 season, Zac’s enthusiasm and positive attitude brought energy around the club and made him a popular member of the playing group.

“However, the club is in a phase where we are prioritising primary list spots in next month’s National Draft as we continue to look for youth in rebuilding our playing list.”

The Eagles, who currently hold four picks inside the top 26 in the upcoming National Draft, will continue working through their primary and rookie list spots ahead of the final list lodgement on December 1.
