Following the success of the program that unearthed Sophie McDonald and Eleanor Hartill, the West Coast Eagles are venturing to the regions to find the next young star with six new AFLW Talent Search Days now locked in.

Eagles coaches and staff will be travelling to five different regions around Western Australia to give young female players the opportunity to come and show off their talent before returning to Mineral Resources Park for the final session.

In previous years the AFLW Talent Search Days uncovered key defender Sophie McDonald and Eleanor Hartill, who made her debut this season.

McDonald was identified at a Talent Search Day in Albany where she decided to come try her skills - having never played the sport before – and four months later she found herself in an Eagles guernsey.

Basketball convert Hartill was playing amateur football before testing her skills at a similar session in Perth.

She debuted in round three against Essendon and has become a solid contributor for the side since.

Players of all skill levels are welcome, with every player encouraged to come down and take advantage of the skills and experience that the Talent Search Day provides.

Players can sign up to a session close to them now through this link: bit.ly/WCEtalentsearch
