Optus Stadium has one of the most advanced broadcast and media centres of any stadium anywhere in the world.

The West Coast Eagles in partnership with Edith Cowan University gave two lucky students the chance to see how the broadcast machine works on a match day.

Bella, a budding journalism student and her friend Mya, who is enrolled in screen production at ECU were given a tour through the press box, media conference room, Kojo's match day presentation box and the radio commentary booths.

Showing them around was former ECU graduate and West Coast Eagles Head of Content and Digital Strategy, Tyson Beattie.

The pair also got to watch the TABtouch pregame show live before the recent North Melbourne game in one of the stadium's television studios.

Bella got the opportunity through a competition she won for writing an article about the greatest West Coast Eagle, choosing John Worsfold in a compelling argument.

She hopes to one day work in sports media and ECU provides the perfect education to create that opportunity.

The West Coast Eagles are proud to partner with Edith Cowan University.
