The journey of Jamaine Jones from the rookie list to a first-choice selection at the West Coast Eagles has been galvanised with the match committee bringing him straight back into the senior line-up after a three-month absence.

Jones and utility player Samo Petrevski-Seton have been immediately recalled as the Eagles prepare to take on Fremantle in RAC Derby LVII at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

After suffering a serious ankle injury in the round 10 clash against Hawthorn in Launceston there were fears his season could be over, but he has worked diligently through his rehabilitation and has been given the green light to meet the Dockers.

Petrevski-Seton returns after missing two games through suspension following a dangerous tackle charge against Carlton.

Making way for the experienced pair are young forwards Ryan Maric (calf) and Jack Williams.

Maric will miss his first game after being secured through the mid-season draft and playing his debut match (after a solitary WAFL game) in round 13 against Adelaide. Williams has played as a key forward as well as offering ruck support to Bailey Williams in the last seven matches.

Jack Williams has been named as an emergency with defenders Luke Foley and Rhett Bazzo, as well as midfielder Greg Clark, who was the tactical sub last week.

Clark was injected into the game deep into the last quarter against Essendon to provide additional midfield run.
