West Coast Eagles members and fans will get a taste of Friday night football at Optus Stadium towards the end of the season after the AFL today released its time slots and days for the last nine rounds.

The Eagles will play Gold Coast at home in Round 21 – on Friday, August 2 at 6.10pm.

The other three remaining home games are slotted for Sunday afternoons with 2.40pm starts, including the club’s first game against Brisbane at Optus Stadium in round 18 on July 14.

Two of the club’s away fixtures – against St Kilda in round 19 and North Melbourne in round 22 – are scheduled for Saturdays with 1.45pm (AEST) starts at Marvel Stadium and Blundstone Arena in Hobart respectively.

The away RAC Derby against Fremantle in round 20 will be played on Saturday, July 27 at 6.10pm.

The last fixture of the season – against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium will not be locked in until three weeks before the game.
